Patients Are Unaware of Resources Offered by Manufacturers
A recent survey has shown patients with chronic conditions are eager for additional support services from drug manufacturers. Patients rarely seek out aid from the manufacturer and are unaware of the assistance available. This is also a potential area for pharmacist counseling to better the relationships with your patients and fill a critical need in their overall care. Taking the extra initiative with your patients with chronic conditions can pay dividends with loyalty and better patient outcomes.
